Built for roofing contractors

Measure it.
Price it.
Sign it.

Ninja Takeoff turns roof measurements into a priced estimate, a proposal your homeowner can say yes to, and a signed contract — then hands production the material order and work orders. One flow, from the driveway to the dumpster.

Works on the iPad or phone you already carry to the appointment.

Features

Everything between the inspection and the build

Stop retyping the same numbers into four different tools. Enter the roof once and every document downstream stays in sync.

Measurement tokens

Squares, eaves, rakes, ridges, hips, valleys and pitch become reusable tokens. Sketch the roof, measure on site, or let AI read a measurement report — every quantity on the estimate updates automatically.

Line-item estimates

Build retail estimates from your own price book, or pull the line items straight out of an insurance scope (Xactimate PDF) and sort them by trade. Margins stay visible to you, never to the homeowner.

Proposals that close

Walk the homeowner through good / better / best options, warranties, upgrades, gutters and financing on a presentation built for the kitchen table — then turn the choice into a proposal in one tap.

E-sign contracts

Sign on the spot or send a link by email. Homeowners initial each page, sign, and get a finished PDF with your terms, warranties and attachments assembled automatically.

Material orders

The signed scope flows into a production handoff with shingle bundles, underlayment, flashing and accessories already counted from the measurements. Review it, print it, send it to your supplier.

Work orders

One work order per trade — roofing, gutters, siding — seeded from the material order, with colors, delivery notes and crew budgets. Your crews get a clean PDF instead of a phone call.

Your projects, your CRM

Ninja Takeoff keeps its own project record, so it works on day one with no CRM at all. CRM integrations that sync projects, customers and line items both ways are on the way — built to connect to whichever CRM you already run.

One appointment, start to signed

Customer, address, retail or insurance. Takes about thirty seconds from the driveway.

2

Draw the roof, enter tape measurements per structure, or drop in a measurement report. Tokens are ready instantly.

3

Build and present

Pick a template, review the auto-filled line items, and walk the homeowner through their options.

4

Sign and hand off

Contract signed, project marked sold, and production gets the material order and work orders without a single re-key.

Switching from SumoQuote?

SumoQuote is being retired. Your workflow doesn't have to be.

Ninja Takeoff was built by a roofing operation that ran on SumoQuote and needed somewhere to go. Reports, proposals, e-signatures and production paperwork all have a home here — plus measurement tokens and material orders SumoQuote never had.

  • Bring your past estimates and signed contracts with you, searchable by customer
  • Familiar report-style proposals with your branding and terms
  • Hands-on help moving your templates and price book over

FAQ

Questions contractors ask

Does it work on an iPad or phone?

Yes. Ninja Takeoff is built for the field first — measuring, presenting and signing all work on a phone or tablet in the customer's home.

Do I need a CRM to use it?

No. Projects live in Ninja Takeoff itself. CRM integrations are coming so you can sync if you already use one.

Can it handle insurance jobs?

Yes. Upload the carrier's scope PDF and Ninja Takeoff pulls the line items, sorts them by trade, and builds the insurance proposal and upgrade options from them.

Can I use my own contract terms and branding?

Yes. Your logo, colors, contract terms, warranty documents and email templates are all set per company.
